Misinformation and disinformation are often confused with another.
Misinformation is false information that was spread without the
intent to hurt others or to gain something. Disinformation on the
other hand, is false information spread with the intent to hurt someone.

politicians, people with power, and everyday people.Regular People
can spread misinformation because they saw someone they follow
online said it, or hear it on the news and tell their friends and
family. In both instances people take it as fact and spread it.
